| Born to a Sikh family in India I was introduced to yoga, science
of
prana/apana and blessed with the divine technology of sound current
gifted
by the Shabad Guru, at a very tender age. I have been experiencing
Kundalini
yoga consciously since 1994 but have been practicing since early
childhood,
not knowing that the kriyas/meditation/asana I was doing were working
on my
Kundalini.
The quest on how to meditate, that started in my early school years
finally
was fulfilled when I met Siri Singh Sahib in 1994. I had once in
life time
opportunity to sit in the feet of Siri Singh Sahib and learn the
yogic
techniques of meditation, an experience an incident that people
have hard
time to believe.
What has it meant to you?
This is what that has kept me going to lead a Healthy, Happy and
Holy life.
It has given me an opportunity to unlock the inner infinite potential,
to be
in tune with your inner self and let the pure light within guide
the way.
Who are your teachers, inspirations?
My first teacher is my mother. I believe the hymns she sang while
cooking
the food and feeding us got imprinted in every molecule of my body,
my
father from whom I learnt the yoga kriyas that he used to do in
the early
hours of every morning and my Spiritual teacher Siri Singh Sahib
Bhai
Harbhajan Singh (Yogi Bhajan); meeting him and learning one-on-one
from him
was a life changing experience. Now every being inspires for I see
the light
of that infinite in them.
What do you hope to share with your students?
I want to share my experience and a little knowledge I have with
others in
hope to help people to get in touch with their inner infinite self,
unlock
their inner potential to be Healthy, Happy and Holy beings; and
to
understand that we are spiritual being having a physical experience
and see
this world from a spiritually elevated state of mind.
