| Amber Dierking was introduced to yoga about
six years ago at a class offered through her employer. She loved
the experience, but at the time yoga was something she could only
practice at home using videotapes. When she began taking classes
at a studio, she says it rocked her world! She noticed an immediate
and positive difference in her practice and knew from that point
forward yoga would be a permanent fixture in her life.
Amber’s desire to teach yoga soon became apparent and she
became a certified instructor through AAAI. While teaching she continued
to grow her knowledge of yoga through regular practice with an eclectic
variety of yoga teachers specializing in Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga,
and Power Yoga.
She completed the Midwest Power Yoga Teaching Assistant Program
(TAP) in 2005 and is in the process of completing the Midwest Power
Yoga Teacher Certification program. She feels both programs have
helped her make her classes invigorating, safer, and more fun.
Her classes are structured to give students an intense workout
so they can develop strength, flexibility, and peace of mind. Amber’s
classes are appropriate for all types of students and all levels
of ability.
